Privacy policy
Last updated 16 July 2026 · Draft pending legal review
Krubase ("we", "us") provides operations software for cleaning companies. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Account details — name, email address and role, via our sign-in provider (Clerk).
- Business data you enter — clients, addresses, schedules, staff details, timesheets, documents and messages.
- Billing details — processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
- Usage and device information needed to run and secure the service.
Why we collect it
- To provide scheduling, routing, timesheet, messaging and AI-assistant features to your company.
- To send operational messages (for example appointment confirmations via WhatsApp/SMS where your company enables them).
- To bill subscriptions and to comply with legal obligations.
AI features
The Krubase assistant answers questions using your company's own data. Answers stay scoped to your company, and the assistant is designed not to expose personal contact details or pay information in its responses.
Disclosure
We share data only with the service providers required to run Krubase (hosting, authentication, payments, messaging and mapping providers), some of which store data outside Australia. We do not sell personal information.
Security and retention
Data is isolated per company, encrypted in transit and retained while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your company's data when you close your account.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us. If you are unsatisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
